Resounding success
To the Editor:
This past weekend, September 8 and 9, Featherstone Center for the Arts sponsored an Island-wide artists studio tour. Seventeen artists welcomed us to their homes and studios. We met painters and photographers whom we had never met, whose work we had not known, drove down roads we had never traveled before and thus learned more about this wonderful Island of talented new friends.
Our thanks to the hardworking staff and volunteers who made the studio tour a resounding success, with maps and artist bios, and completed the event with a great party at Featherstone, Sunday afternoon.
