Martha's Vineyard organizations receive $42,000 in cultural grants
State Representative Timothy R. Madden announced that the Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC) has awarded grants totaling $41,720 to Martha's Vineyard cultural organizations, schools, and community groups.
"I am happy to see support for cultural organizations and community groups, as their work enriches our lives and improves our communities through the arts, humanities, and sciences," Mr. Madden said.
Grant recipients include: the Martha's Vineyard Chamber Music Society ($3,000); Silver Screen Film Society, Inc., ($3,000); The Vineyard Playhouse Company, Inc. ($5,000); The Yard, Inc. ($5,000); Vineyard Arts Project Limited ($2,500); Martha's Vineyard Cultural Council ($23,220).
