New physical therapist joins VNA staff
The Vineyard Nursing Association announced that Eric M. Gordon has joined the staff as a new full-time physical therapist. Mr. Gordon arrived from Baltimore, Maryland, where he was in practice for 20 years. He was the founder and CEO of the Gordon Institute for Human Sports Performance. The focus of his area of practice has been orthopaedics and athletes; however, he has also been a pioneer in the area of oncology rehabilitation, according to a press release.
Mr. Gordon moved to the Island with his wife, Laurie, a former two-time All American Collegiate Lacrosse star, and two daughters who attend the Edgartown School.
