Enjoy Art in the Stacks at the library with work by Clara Kisko, who lives in Canada and Edgartown. Her acrylic landscapes will be on display during October. Clara began painting in her fifties, beginning with small watercolor sketches for her travel journals. Her interest was enhanced by watercolor classes at Featherstone with Carolyn Daniele. The abstract flower pieces contrast the whites and grays of a Toronto winter. The landscapes were inspired by New England scenes painted during the spring and summer months.
