West Tisbury Library to move temporarily

You will notice changes at the West Tisbury Library as the staff moves to the temporary location at Middletown Village (across State Road from Conroy Apothecary in North Tisbury).
The library will be open in its new location on Monday, October 15. The last day in the current location is Saturday, October 13.
In the temporary location — a small, cozy space — find new materials: adult, children, and young adult books, and a collection of DVDs. There will be WiFi and laptops, passport applications, printing, copying, and faxing available for public use. Inter-library loan will be available.
Library staff are storing the majority of materials at other institutions (schools, libraries, and nonprofit groups) and in storage units at the airport. These materials will not be accessible until the library is re-opened in the new space.
The phone number and hours will remain the same. Consult the website, westtisburylibrary.org, for up-to-date information. Staff asks all to please bear with them during this exciting transition. They plan to open in the renovated and enlarged space by January, 2014.
Books and DVDs to return? After October 15, please return books to the new Middletown Village location.
