Music and poetry mesh at Featherstone on Friday
[More Photos]Six poets will read original poems and play original music this Saturday, Oct. 20, at Featherstone Center for the Arts in Oak Bluffs.
The poets are Martha's Vineyard Poet Laureate Lee H. McCormack, Edgartown Poet Laureate Steve Ewing, former West Tisbury Poet Laureates Dan Waters and Fan Ogilvie, current West Tisbury Poet Laureate Justen Ahren, and William Waterway, founder of the Martha's Vineyard Poetry Society.
Produced by the M.V. Poetry Society in cooperation with Featherstone, the event is from 4 to 6 pm, followed by light food and beverages. For more information, call Mr. Waterway at 508-627-4929.
