Randall Jette named UMass captain for next game

Former Martha's Vineyard Regional High School football star Randall Jette was named Wednesday by University of Massachusetts head coach Charley Molnar as a captain for the team's upcoming game Saturday at Gillette Stadium against Bowling Green.
Jette, a 2010 MVRHS graduate, played quarterback and defensive back for the Vineyarders. The UMass red shirt freshman is a starting defensive back for the Minutemen and was also selected by Coach Molnar to carry out the Massachusetts State Flag prior to kickoff.
