A retired homemaker, she lived with and was cared for by her son, Richard, and son-in-law, Roy, in Oak Bluffs for seven years.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., in 1917, she moved to Mielec, Poland, as a little girl. She returned to the U.S. in 1938 and married Joseph Zielinski in 1944. After his death in 1986, she lived with her son in Somersworth, N.H., and on Martha’s Vineyard.

She is survived by her son, Richard Zielinski of Oak Bluffs, her daughter, Anne Bishop of Barrington, N.H., and her son-in-laws, Roy Grant of Oak Bluffs and Mark Bishop of Barrington, N.H.

The sweetest woman and most wonderful mother on earth, she gave and gave to her family and asked for nothing in return. She was mentally and emotionally tortured by the horrible Alzheimer’s disease for the past two years. May she rest in peace in a better place.

Cremation and private burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dover, N.H.
