Hotel Transylvania (PG)

Dracula constructs a place where monsters of all kinds can come to relax and be themselves without having to constantly worry about humanity coming after them. He becomes concerned when his daughter becomes the object of a boy’s attentions. Animated. Starring the voices of Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Andy Samberg, and more popular actors.

Looper (R)

A suspenseful, mind-bending action thriller. The mob, 30 years in the future, sends people to be eliminated back in time so the looper can do them in. The looper encounters himself from the future, a loop de loop. Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt. This one has gotten positive reviews from most reviewers.

Pitch Perfect (PG-13)

A sweet-natured film based on a book by Mickey Rapkin about the life and loves of collegians from competing a cappella groups. Toe-tapping songs and fun performances. Starring Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow, and Rebel Wilson.

Seven Psychopaths (R)

An A-list cast including Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, and Christopher Walken star in this comedy about a screenwriter who gets caught up in his friends’ criminal but comedic lives.

Taken 2 (PG-13)

Liam Neeson returns as Bryan Mills, a retired CIA operative who decimated an Albanian slave-trading ring to rescue his kidnapped daughter. This time it’s his wife who must be rescued using his lethal skills to track her down and eliminate all who stand in his way. Also starring Famke Janssen and Maggie Grace.
