Sunday potluck
Slow Food Martha's Vineyard and The FARM Institute invite all to a potluck this Sunday, Nov. 18, starting at 6 pm at the Chilmark Community Center. Bring a dish for six to share, made with at least one local ingredient. It is a zero-waste, and free event: bring your own plates, utensils, and beverages. Pancake breakfast
The West Tisbury School class of 2014 is raising money for its class trip to England with a pancake breakfast and silent auction this Sunday, Nov. 18. To be held at the Ag Hall, enjoy all-you-can-eat pancakes complete with a toppings bar, from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Gluten-free options are available. Admission is $10; $30 for families.
