Poets Corner: The Blond day
The Blond Day
The Blond Day came leaping over the fence
and danced between the orange-gold leaves
and yellow-blue sky —
bleaching my mind FREE of clouds
and drenching away the darkness
from all of the caves —
It took me on a summer walk beside the sky
and showed me horizons blazing bright,
a billion sunsets,
all sunrises singing in a chorus,
purifying my being,
cleansing and washing —
gathering in all of the light,
throwing it to me,
like the balloon I caught
at the beach last July —
