To the Editor:
Anonymity for some people may be a good thing, for houses not such a good thing.
Not having your house number clearly displayed causes extra work and frustration for delivery services such as FedEx, fuel delivery, and service persons not familiar with your house. More so, it could be disastrous if there were ever a medical emergency. Then minutes count and [what if]medical personnel were delayed in locating your house because of no markings?
If your number is on your house and you have a long winding driveway with trees obstructing the view of your house, you should also have your house number at the beginning of your driveway.
What to get the person who has everything this holiday season? A set of house numbers. Who knows, you could possibly save someone’s life.
