Revelers rang in the 31st annual Christmas in Edgartown Friday evening with an elegant Holiday Soirée Cocktail Party at the historic Dr. Daniel Fisher House on Main Street.
Also Friday evening, the joyous voices of the Minnesingers rose in concert at the Old Whaling Church. The Minnesingers will offer another holiday performance on Saturday afternoon.
Other weekend events included the always popular Great Chowder Contest, which The Wharf Pub and Restaurant won, and the Christmas Parade.
A total of 70 separate events were scheduled.
