The Vineyard boys traveled to Hetland Arena in New Bedford on Saturday and doubled-up the Bishop Stang Spartans, 6-3, to pick up their first Eastern Athletic Conference win of the season.
Shay Hill had a standout game for the Vineyarders (7-2, 1-1 EAC) with a goal and two assists. Sophomore defenseman Alexander Vukota reached 10 points for the season by picking up three assists. Max Davies, Kyp Cooperrider, Brian Fraser, Charlie Ashmun, and Sam Burke all tallied for the Vineyarders.
Freshman goaltender Wyatt Jenkinson earned his seventh win in net.
The boys played Bishop Feehan Wednesday afternoon in an EAC contest at Aleixo Arena in Taunton.
Annual auction Friday
The annual Martha’s Vineyard boys hockey auction will be Friday night at Dreamland in Oak Bluffs. The festivites get underway at 6 pm with the silent auction.
