Martha’s Vineyard completed a season sweep of archrival Bishop Feehan and put themselves in prime position to win a fourth consecutive Eastern Athletic Conference title with a 54-46 win Saturday night in Attleboro.

Izak Browne scored 15 points to go with 10 rebounds as the Vineyarders improved to 12-3 overall and 5-1 in EAC play with two league games remaining.

The Vineyarders led 31-22 at halftime and played tight, aggressive defense to keep the Shamrocks at bay for the remainder of the game.

M.V. also enjoyed a solid night from the charity stripe, sinking 17 of 22 shots from the line. Deshawn James hit 7 of 8 free throws, Jack Roberts was 4 for 5, Izak Browne was 4 for 6, and Liam Weston, 2 for 2.

The Vineyarders travel to Somerset Berkley (8-5, 1-2 EAC) on Tuesday for an EAC rematch with the Raiders, who handed M.V. its lone league defeat, 59-58, on January 11 in Oak Bluffs. In that game, the Vineyarders had a 12-point lead erased in the final two minutes.
