Party for girls hockey

The Martha's Vineyard Regional High School girls hockey team is having a benefit auction and party at the M.V. Rod and Gun Club in Edgartown this Saturday, Feb. 2. From 7 to 11 pm, bid in the silent and live auctions, and enjoy hors d'oeuvres to support the team. Admission is $25. For more information, call 508-717-1144 or email jogden92@gmail.com.

Breakfast at the Legion

The American Legion Post 257 in Vineyard Haven hosts its monthly breakfast this Sunday, Feb. 3, from 8 to 10 am, at the hall, located at 47 Martin Road. They'll be serving eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, english muffins, pancakes, fruit, homemade baked goods, and beverages. Admission is $8; $3 for children under 12.

Land Bank hike

Hike a new Martha's Vineyard Land Bank trail with a guide this Sunday, Feb. 3. The new trail is the Ocean View Farm Preserve in Chilmark, and the walk begins at 1 pm. Meet at the Fulling Mill Brook Preserve trailhead off Middle Road. The walk is rain or shine and lasts approximately two to three hours. For more information, call 508-627-7141.
