After a packed house on Saturday night, Seasons Restaurant and Pub in Oak Bluffs opened for its last day on Super Bowl Sunday and entertained a crowd with the game, snacks, and raffle prizes.

A year-round mainstay on Circuit Avenue, Seasons closed after two decades of serving food, drinks, and weekly entertainment from karaoke to live bands.

The location has a storied history of owners and occupants. In the recent past it was known as the Boston House. It became Checkers for one year after the sale and the three partners transformed it into the Atlantic Connection and the other side Seasons Restaurant.

Owners Robert Murphy of Oak Bluffs and Jim Ryan of Osterville plan to sell or lease the building.

"Neither one of us wants to go through another season," Mr. Murphy told The Times last week. "We were going to do it [close], and going to do it, and the best way to do it is just do it. So we said we will close it, put it up for sale or lease, and see where it goes."
