Theater : Martha's Vineyard students to take the stage in "The Secret Garden"

Under direction of Betsy Hauck, the Performing Arts Department at Martha's Vineyard Regional High School has been working hard for weeks, readying their winter musical, "The Secret Garden," a musical based on the children's classic book by Frances Hodgson Burnett. See the troupe perform this Thursday and Friday, Feb. 14 and 15, at 7 pm, and Saturday, Feb. 16, at 4 pm.

For the first time, the Massachusetts Education Theater will be adjudicating the show for inclusion into a new awards program for musicals. Peter Boak is the guest pianist, along with Jan Wightman and several other community members.
