PechaKucha returns

The Martha’s Vineyard Museum will host their third in a series of programs of short presentations this Friday at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown.

PechaKucha (literally chit-chat) is a worldwide program where participants present a 20-image slide show while talking about each slide for no more than 20 seconds. The subject can be anything.

Presenters scheduled for this week so far include a talk on the Vineyard’s new Public Broadcasting Station, the recounting of a disaster-plagued whaling voyage told by Chris Baer, and Haiku and photos by poet Ellie Bates.

Anyone interested in participating can contact Jessica at jbarker@mvmuseum.org or 508-627-4441 ext. 117. Presentations are from 7:30 to 9:30 pm. The event is free; food and drink will be available for purchase.
