Islanders and visitors gathered in Edgartown Sunday to kick off St. Patrick’s day with a short, but festive and boisterous parade.

Bagpiper Tony Peak led the march, a short stroll from the Dock Street parking lot to The Newes from America Pub and the Kelley House.

Dressed in all shades of green, the revelers enjoyed refreshments, a DJ dance party, cookie decorating, green cotton candy, and face painting.

This is the second year that the Kelley House and the Harbor View Hotel have organized and sponsored the St. Patrick’s Day parade and festivities.
