Island Gymnastics Training School team and preteam girls competed on March 17 in a USA Gymnastics sanctioned meet held at Brestyan’s American Gymnastics Club in Burlington. The girls were excited to be competing at the training gym for Olympic gold medalist Aly Raisman.

Top scores for the team and preteam girls included: Kayleigh Bollin, Bronze division 8.8 beam; MacKenzie Condon, Silver division 9.35 beam; Taybor Estrella, Silver division 9.0 floor; Rose Herman, Gold division 8.5 beam; Mya Lee O’Neil, Bronze division 9.0 floor; Hannah Arena Tate, Bronze division 8.6 bars; Kasey Varkonda, Silver division 8.5 bars. Mya Lee O’Neil competed in her first sanctioned meet. The teams were coached by Island Gymnastics founder Beth Goodell.

Kayleigh Bollin’s last name was incorrectly spelled in an earlier edition of this article. She also was incorrectly listed as participating in the bars event.
