Mark A. Hutker of Hutker Architects has been named to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects (AIA). The Fellowship elevates those architects who have made a significant contribution to architecture and society and who have achieved a standard of excellence in the profession, according to a press release.
Election to the fellowship not only recognizes the achievements of architects as individuals, but also their significant contribution to architecture and society on a national level.
“Being elected to the College of Fellows is an exciting and humbling milestone in my career,” Mr. Hutker said. “The recognition and support of my peers is a tremendous honor which I share with the multitude of talented and dedicated professionals I have been fortunate to work with over the last three decades. Primarily, I am thankful for the support of my Hutker Architects teammates who are amazingly creative and a joy to work with each day.”Mr. Hutker will receive his Fellowship medal during the Investiture of Fellows Ceremony at the AIA 2013 National Convention and Design Exposition in Denver, Colorado on June 21.
