Sunday last was warm, pleasant, and brought forth more spring flowers. This past Monday morning, the sunrise brought rosy skies streaked with red and more promises of Spring. What a beautiful beginning to start this week, was the first thought going through my mind. Then I remembered, “red skies at morning, sailors take warning.” And if that old adage and the weather forecasters are correct, we will see snow tonight, once more.

Every New Year’s Eve for the past 10 years or more, a group of us would go out to dinner and toast in the new year. But we finally managed to gather together on Thursday last and enjoy a belated New Year’s dinner. Much laughter, friendship and love were shared by the group. Friends double our joy and divide our grief.
