In similar fashion to its Christmas in Edgartown weekend, the Edgartown Board of Trade will host the second annual Pink and Green Weekend this Friday through Sunday, May 10–12.

Throughout the weekend, find sales at many Edgartown stores, various events, tastings, and more. Friday’s activities include a Pink and Green Drink Contest at various delis and cafés, a May Faire event at Donaroma’s from 4 to 6 pm, and Bike to Work Day at Wheel Happy: ride your bike to work and get a spring tune-up for $25.

On Saturday, among other happenings, kids can carve their own pink and green scrimshaw soap at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum, there is a dog show at the Mini Park on Main Street sponsored by the Animal Shelter of M.V., a rosé wine tasting at Edgartown Meat and Fish, and jazz in Nevin Square from 2 to 4 pm.

The big event, the Pink and Green Ball, is Saturday night from 7 to 11 pm. The Sultans of Swing will entertain musically at The Field Club. Tickets are $75. Then, the afterparty meets at The Atlantic from 11 pm to closing.

And Sunday is all about Mother’s Day. Various restaurants are hosting brunch, and kids can make Mother’s Day cards at the Harbor View Hotel from 10 am to 2 pm.
