The Edgartown Eagles preyed on the opposition throughout the spring interscholastic softball season, and the outcome of the championship game played on May 23 in Edgartown was no different.

The Eagle bats were unstoppable as the hosts grounded the West Tisbury Hawks, 37-0, to finish the season as unbeaten champions.

Eagle captain Cana Courtney and Sarah Felix both hit home runs. Pitcher Audrey McCarron was nearly unhittable and her defense, anchored by shortstop Courtney, second baseman Felix, third baseman Kylie Hatt, and first baseman Lucy Ulyatt, kept the Hawks at bay.
