Fevah Dream concert with “The Machine” Jesse Green on Saturday

This Saturday night at Dreamland, “The Machine,” Jesse Green of National Geographic Channel’s “American Chainsaw” and his party band, Fevah Dream, will put on a show and donations will be collected for Eli Bonnell, an Edgartown man who was seriously injured in a skiing accident this winter in Aspen, Colo.

Fevah Dream, made up of five men from Massachusetts, covers music from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and today. “They have a rootsy, modern pop-rock sound that bridges the gap between Blues Traveler and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, with a healthy nod to classic rock and a little Phish phunk thrown in for good measure,” according to The Providence Phoenix. Tickets are $10; $7 in advance by visiting dreamlandconcerts.com. There will also be a 50/50 raffle to benefit Mr. Bonnell.

Jesse Green, the star of “American Chainsaw,” creates wooden sculptures with a chainsaw. On Sunday, June 2, at 1 pm, he is doing a three-hour demonstration of his carving at Sharky’s Cantina in Edgartown. The final result will be a massive Sharky that will be permanently installed outside the restaurant in July, according to restaurant owner JB Blau.
