Martha’s Vineyard Book Festival announces line-up

The Martha’s Vineyard Book Festival announced its return to the Island this August with a notable and inspiring group of authors. In its fifth year, the free festival is a celebration of the rich literary heritage of the Island and the many authors who find inspiration here.

On Saturday, August 3, the festival will be held at the Harbor View Hotel in Edgartown. On Sunday, August 4, it will return to its home at the Chilmark Community Center.

The 30 authors include Ward Just, who most recently contributed to the book “My Bookstore,” Pulitzer Prize winner Richard Russo talking about “Elsewhere” and also “My Bookstore,” CNN anchor Kitty Pilgram, Rose Styron, Linda Greenlaw, George Howe Colt, Tom Reiss whose book “The Black Count: Glory, Revolution, Betrayal, and the Real Count of Monte Cristo” recently won a Pulitzer Prize, Eric Asimov of The New York Times, and others.
