For 16 years, the Vineyard House has thrown an elegant water tasting party to raise funds, and no one has gone home thirsty yet.
This year’s event is at the Oyster Pond estate formerly known as the Clinton Summer White House on Thursday, August 8, from 5:30 to 7:30 pm.
Richard and Nancy Friedman are the hosts, and the menu includes a diverse selection of gourmet food, along with still and sparkling waters from around the world.
Artwork from the Island’s leading artists will be available in a silent auction, and the Beetlebung Steel Band is tuning up for the musical entertainment.
The Vineyard House uses proceeds from the event to offer services, including sober housing for Islanders in recovery from substance abuse.
Tickets are $100 and are available for purchase online, or by calling 508-693-8580.
