The annual end-of-summer celebration in Oak Bluffs, Tivoli Day, is this Saturday, Sept. 14. Take advantage of a car-free Circuit Avenue and stroll the street for sales, live music, and outdoor dining.

The day’s events start with a Pancake Breakfast at the Trinity Parish House, in the Oak Bluffs Campground. Dine from 8 to 10 am on pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee, and juice, for $8; $5 for children 12 and under. Proceeds benefit the United Methodist Church of M.V. programs. For more information, call 508-693-4424 or visit umc-mv.org.

Then, starting at 11 am, the fun begins in town. During Tivoli Day enjoy a healthy mix of the outdoors and shopping, as many of the stores have end-of-season sales; or dine outside on one of the few remaining summer days, as autumn begins the following Sunday. And enjoy live music by Johnny Hoy and the Bluefish and Phil DaRosa. The evening ends at 6 pm, and the rain date is Sunday, Sept. 15.
