Featherstone goes digital

A series of classes at Featherstone Center for the Arts in Oak Bluffs will help individuals to use digital devices and software for their artistic and personal purposes. On Wednesdays, through December 18, iPad tutorials will be held with Karen Huff. An intermediate class will run from 4 to 5 pm, and a beginner class will run from 5 to 6 pm. Students can bring in their own iPads for instruction, or follow along with the instructor if, for instance, they are contemplating buying an iPad. Tuition is $15. On Tuesday, September 24, David Welch and Sam Hiser will teach an “Individual Digital Tutorial” class from 10 am to 12 pm and 1 to 3 pm. These sessions will run on Tuesdays until December, and will give digital photographers an opportunity to learn about their personal cameras, editing/storage software, and digital projects. Fee is $50 for two hours. For more information, call 508-693-1850.
