Offshore Ale in Oak Bluffs is brewing its annual pumpkin ale this Friday.
“We slow roast 150 pounds of sugar pumpkins from Morning Glory Farm to add to our mash,” said owner Phil McAndrews. “The result is a true, natural pumpkin character that does not overpower the beer, or taste artificial.”
The Pumpkin brew will be available mid-October along with Oktoberfest Lager. The restaurant will donate $1 per mug sold to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer fund.
