The Vineyard Golf Club Monday played host to the annual Edgartown National Bank Rotary Island Charity Golf Tournament. Sixty golfers lucked out with the weather, playing on a beautiful breezy fall day when the forecast called for clouds and showers. The event has raised more than $10,000, with equal portions of the proceeds benefiting Hospice of Martha’s Vineyard and the Rotary Club of Martha’s Vineyard Charity Fund. Proceeds from the charity fund are distributed to a variety of Island charities, based on need.

Coming in first place for the lowest gross score were Jaroslav Kral, Dan McCarthy, Trevor Scanlon, and Bruce Stone. First place for the lowest net score were Dave Bruce, Richie Dunbrack, Fred Mascolo, and Fielding Moore. Second place net were Matt Insana, Frank Pellegrino, Paul Watts, and Frend Weiler. Third place net went to Ed Cavatuzi, Joan Cavatuzi, Jon Johnson, and John Moffett.
