Kimberlie Lynch and Steven Schwartz of Durango, Colorado, are pleased to announce their marriage on Monday, July 22, during a full moon evening in Vineyard Haven.

The wedding and reception were held aboard the schooner Alabama, which sailed off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard for the sunset ceremony. The ship’s Captain, Ian Ridgeway, officiated the ceremony once the ship reached latitude 41° 29’N, longitude 70° 35’W.

Forty guests were in attendance, including the bride’s mother, Shirley Craig of Edgartown, and the groom’s mother, Donna Schwartz of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Not in attendance (physically) were the bride’s late father, Philip Craig, and the groom’s late father, James Schwartz, although they were certainly there in spirit.

The couple will continue to reside in Durango, making frequent visits back to the Vineyard. A European honeymoon cruise is in the planning stage for some time in 2014.
