Gas prices fall, but not so much here
The price of gasoline continued to decline over the past week, falling five cents to an average of $3.38 per gallon, according to the latest AAA survey. Prices have fallen 20 cents a gallon during the past month and are 45 cents lower than a year ago, the State House News Service reported. Surveyors found gas for as low as $3.26 and as high as $3.55.
Apparently, surveyors did not look on Martha's Vineyard, where on Tuesday a gallon of regular hovered around $4.39.
