Tyson Araujo, senior co-captain on the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School boys varsity hockey team, has been named as one of 25 players to the Southern Massachusetts all-star roster for the fourth annual Shriners High School All Star Hockey Classic to be held March 22 at the CDU Center in Worcester. The game will take place prior to the American Hockey League game between the Worcester Sharks and the Hershey Bears.

The event includes both girls and boys games, showcasing the top senior players from throughout the Commonwealth. Players are only nominated if their coach is a member of the Massachusetts State Hockey Coaches Association.

“It’s a huge honor for an Island kid,” Martha’s Vineyard coach Matt Mincone said. “Tyson deserves every bit of it, and he’s very humble about it.”
