Martha's Vineyard scored first, but then gave up three consecutive goals, and the season ends with a 3-1 tournament loss to Medfield.

The Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School boys hockey team was bounced from the state tournament by Medfield High School, in a game played at Asiaf Arena in Brockton Saturday night.

The Vineyarders took an early lead when senior co-captain Brian Fraser scored in the first period with assists from Tyson Araujo and Sam Burke.

But Medfield scored twice within seven seconds in the second period to take command, and went on to win 3-1 in the quarterfinal contest.

Medfield peppered Vineyarder netwinder Wyatt Jenkinson with more than 20 shots in the contest.
