A free information session regarding a new youth triathlon clinic, offered as part of this year’s Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School Summer Programs, will be held Monday, April 7, at 7 pm, in the high school library conference room. The session will be led by clinic director Paul Bloom, a USA Triathlon youth and junior certified coach and Duke University professor.
The clinic will run from July 7-18, Monday-Friday, from 9 am to noon, at MVRHS and the YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard.
The program will offer skills instruction in swimming, biking, running, and transitions. The tuition is $400 for year-round Vineyard residents and $600 for all others. For insurance purposes, all participants will need to become USA Triathlon (USAT) members. Visit www.usatriathlon.org and click on “Join or renew now” in the upper right hand corner of the website. The cost is $15. For additional information, contact Paul Bloom at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 919-270-8084.
Registration info will be available April 7 at the free information session.
