Andrew L. Gadzinski of Chicago, Ill., died on April 11. He was 47.
Andrew graduated from the University of Chicago Booth school of Business in 2007 with an Executive MBA. He also was a 2005 graduate of Northwestern University, earning a Masters of Information Technology. Owner of a financial management company, Andrew was a seated member of the Board of Trade of Chicago and an active supporter of the Special Olympics.
Andrew was the beloved son of Kathleen Venable O’Neil, a resident of Martha’s Vineyard, and her partner in life, Mary Jo Kane, and the late Erwin Gadzinski and his wife, Mary Stubbs. He was the dearest brother of Margaret Lencewicz (husband Joseph) and Victoria Veldon (husband Joseph); the loving uncle of Alison and Joseph; the dear nephew of Maryann Rinella (husband Thomas, deceased), Patricia Snow (husband John, deceased), John Venable, Howard Venable (wife Debra) and Thomas Venable; and the loving cousin of many.
A Mass and celebration of Andrew’s life will take place at 9:30 am on May 3 at Holy Name Cathedral, 730 North Wabash Avenue in Chicago. Online tributes and condolences may be sent to diciccoandsonsfh.com.
