On Saturday afternoon, the Portuguese-American Club in Oak Bluffs opened its doors for a Kentucky Derby party. About 30 people, some in traditional Derby hats, gathered around the TVs to watch race favorite California Chrome take home the roses. California Chrome is schedule to race again in the Preakness Stakes, the second leg in a three-race Triple Crown series, on May 17.
