A story published May 1, “Chilmark voters derail Squibnocket Beach plan, 83-81,” incorrectly reported that Thomas Bena referred to the proposed bridge as 24 feet high. He said the bridge would be 19 feet high.

You were not seeing double. The Times mistakenly published the Aquinnah column in place of last week’s West Tisbury column.

  1. Thank you for the correction on the Squibnocket Beach story. We wouldn’t want to see Thomas Bena’s exaggerations, scare tactics, and misleading statements any more exaggerated, confusing, or dishonest than they were.
