To the Editor:
For years we were told that gas for our cars cost fifty cents more per gallon on the Vineyard, and we understood that was because of transportation from the Cape.
For some time now I’ve observed it’s been closer to a dollar more. Today’s Cape Cod Times tells me $3.54 to $3.68 are prices to be found on the mainland. On the Vineyard this week most stations are asking $4.57 to $4.59. Have we been told why?
