Martha’s Vineyard Youth Lacrosse players Colby Zarba (Under-13) and Jacob Gundersen (Under-15) have been chosen as inaugural members of the Massachusetts Bay Colonials Lacrosse Team.

Each has the honor and the distinction of being chosen to represent not only Martha’s Vineyard Youth Lacrosse and Massachusetts, but all of New England at the World Lacrosse Championships in Denver, Colorado, this coming July. The two were chosen after an intense tryout from over 150 of the top lacrosse players from Eastern Massachusetts town and Club teams. The pair will be participating in a week-long training camp with their respective teams at Deerfield Academy. They will then board a plane for the Mile High City to compete against teams from other regions of the U.S. The team is sponsored by the Mass Bay Youth Lacrosse League and Trilogy Lacrosse.
