Young learners say thanks

To the Editor:

On the behalf of Island Children’s School older preschool class, I would like to extend a very warm and sincere thank you to Rebecca Solway’s West Tisbury school class as well as Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation executive director Adam Moore and Sheriff’s Meadow for an engaging and enjoyable morning at Cedar Tree Neck Sanctuary. Despite the cool and drizzly start to our field trip last week, our knowledgeable tour guides (the 4th grade class) made our walk through this precious sanctuary a fun and enlightening experience. This educational programming, provided to us through the hard work of Mrs. Solway and Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation, is such a great asset to our community of young learners.

Eben, Nevah, Adagio, Margaret, Brett, Lillian, Ethan, Estella, Owen, Mathilda, Brian, Linden, Sammy, Elizabeth, Tristan, Yvonne and Heather say thank you Sheriff’s Meadow Foundation for preserving this special place and providing us with such a wonderful and unique educational experience.
