In spite of a near miss by a hurricane, the majority of the weather for last weekend’s 4th of July celebrations made for a warm, sunny time for parades, fireworks, and beach outings. Some rescheduling was necessary, but it seemed as if most people were able to fulfill their holiday plans. Traffic, however was brutal, resulting, at least for me, in deciding I actually didn’t need to go to the store anyway. Now look forward to the next big happening: the Feast of the Holy Ghost on the weekend of July 19 and 20.
