The “Hitmakers” included Jim McCormick, Clay Mils, Jay Knowles and Marty Dodson, who have penned hits for country artists such as Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Darius Rucker, Billy Currington, Lady Antellebellum, Tricia Yearwood, and Brantley Gilbert. Joining the “Hitmakers” on stage was a group of emerging Nashville artists including Lance Carpenter, Jason Gregory, The Wheeler Sisters, Jesse Terry, Sammy Arriaga, Tyler Barham, Morgan Myles, Casey Derhak, and Jilly Martin. Island acts Garrett James and Phil Darosa opened the show. The Songwriting Festival also included workshops, critiques, and a performance at Tivoli Day earlier on Saturday.
