Open auditions for teens and children ages 8 and up for “The Snow Queen” begin next Saturday, Oct. 14, from 11 am to 2 pm. The staged adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s fairy tale was originally published in 1844 and will be retold by the playhouse’s artistic director, MJ Bruder Munafo, and Elizabeth Wojtusik. Stop by anytime within that time frame, and expect to stay for half an hour. Children should be accompanied by an adult. All roles are open, and no preparation is necessary. This is the non-musical version of the story, but does feature choreographed movement. For more information, or if you can’t make Saturday’s auditions, email email@example.com.
