COMMUNITY SHORTS April 28, 2005 Red Cross training begins soon The Martha's Vineyard Chapter of the American Red Cross will offer crossover training to teach First Aid to instructors who are already trained in CPR/AED, and vice versa. The training will be held on Saturday, May 14, from 9 am to 3 pm at the American Legion Post 257 in Vineyard Haven. For more information, call 508-696-0092. Festival space available now It's time to reserve your space at the annual Oak Bluffs Harbor Festival. This year the festival will take place on Saturday, June 11 with a rain date of June 12. Applications for booth and table space are available at daRosa's on Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs or you can download an application from the Oak Bluffs Association web site: www.oakbluffsmv.com. Fees are $45 for members of the association, $55 for non-profit organizations, and $125 for all others.
