Astrology
Saturn
brings endings...
July
7, 2005
By
Arlan Wise
Saturn is finishing his transit through the sign of Cancer. He has
been in that sign since June 4, 2003. Those with Sun, Moon, and/or
Saturn in Cancer know what this has meant in their personal lives.
For everyone else, the big themes have been taking care of home and
family, a focus on security and belonging, and the emotional issues
of abandonment, insecurity, and rejection. Saturn has tested you to
see how well you handle your responsibilities in these areas of life.
He wanted to teach you about nurturing, caring, and non-attachment.
Saturn enters Leo on July 16 and will remain there for the next 2
1Ž2 years. Its time for Leos to batten down the hatches.
Tuesday, July 5 Moon in Cancer. Today and the next two days
are highly emotional ones. Everything will be perceived though a personal
filter. It will be hard to be objective, so put aside the decisions
that need an impartial view. Tonight is the dark of the moon; it is
powerful for rituals that have to do with endings.
Wednesday, July 6 Moon in Cancer. This is the last new moon in
Cancer when Saturn is in the sign of Cancer. You will have to let
go of something or someone so that you can plant a new seed and let
something grow. Nourish what is ripe and ready to bloom. Make it real
by planting in the garden and yard. Its a good day to face your
fears and let go of them.
Thursday, July 7 Moon in Cancer, VC from 12:54 pm until 3:11 pm
when it enters Leo. Theres a nice energy to the day calm,
compassionate. You will do well when you direct your energy towards
caring for others. Revisit the people who need some help from you.
A good stretch of party time begins this evening.
Friday, July 8 Moon in Leo. Party hard while you still can.
Saturn enters Leo next week and will put a damper on this happy moon
energy. Play hooky and go have some fun. Its a day to do your
own thing. Express your creativity and let your self shine. Artists
and writers will do some very good work today.
Saturday, July 9 Moon in Leo, VC 12:49 pm. The creative energy
continues and demands that you strut your stuff. This is the day to
show someone your work, to send out those manuscripts, to send your
art to be juried. This is romantic energy and it will be easy to talk
about your relationship with your loved one.
Sunday, July 10 Moon in Virgo. Clean up after the partying. Fix
what ever got broken, literally and metaphorically. Take care of any
home tasks youve put off. Get them done today. Check in on Mom
and other family members. Address anything with the family that needs
to be fixed. Its a day for emotional work.
Monday, July 11 Moon in Virgo. This is a wonderful workday. You
can work long and hard and take care of a zillion details. Try to
take care of the bulk of the weeks work today. Dont be
too critical as you move along and see all the mistakes that could
have been avoided; just fix them. Weed and cultivate the garden.
Tuesday, July 12 Moon in Virgo, VC from 3:12 pm until 4:09
pm when it enters Libra. The day starts softly; your mind is full
of dreams and fantasies which give pleasure. Its a great day
to be an artist. By evening youll feel a switch into assertive,
aggressive energy and people wont seem so nice. Curb your impatience
and try to see the issue from the other side.
Wednesday, July 13 Moon in Libra. Dont take anything
you hear today as stone cold truth. People are in a mode to say what
pleases others and not cause any friction. Your words may be misunderstood;
have someone repeat them to you to make sure you were heard. Its
great energy for a spiritual breakthrough, for meditation, and for
traveling in those other astral realms.
Thursday, July 14 Moon in Libra. You should be able to smooth
out any problems that came from yesterdays spaciness. You can
find a way to rebalance relationships and bring things back to an
even keel. Youll feel more oriented to people and social gatherings
than to work. Buy a piece of art for your home. Take a friend to dinner.
