Retrograde

Retrograde planets
seem to be optical illusions. You see the other side of the issue.
Mercury in retrograde puts you into a reflective mode, very introverted
with great potential for growth. It is a time to let go and give up
on planning and following already made plans. It is a time to be open
to deviation and innovation and embrace the insecurity of the unknown.
It is a good time for reunions of any kind. Make an effort to see
those loved ones who are out of your everyday circle. Reconnect with
past lovers. Pick up a creative project that you mean to finish and
give it another try.
Mercury will end this retrograde cycle on August 15.
Thursday, July 28 Moon in Taurus. Mars enters Taurus and challenges
Saturn and Chiron; this changes the energy pattern. You will have
to slow down, do things the right way, and stop cutting corners. If
you rush, you may fail. People will feel wounded today. Its
a great day to plant. Take care of yourself by pampering your senses
in your favorite way.
Friday, July 29 Moon VC Taurus, enters Gemini 10:02 pm. youll
have to stop and check in with reality today. A VC day during Mercury
retrograde gives a null and void feeling to the energy to the day.
Start your weekend early if you can. Its a lazy day; chill out
in the backyard. Plant and putter in the garden.
Saturday, July 30 Moon in Gemini. It will be a busy day with a
lot of mix-ups. Leave extra time to get places. Laugh when you miss
meeting someone because you are waiting in two different places. Double-check
all your written communication. People will misspeak and also hear
the wrong things. Have a good time with your friends.
Sunday, July 31 Moon in Gemini, VC 5:10 pm. Mars throws a challenge
to Saturn and Chiron today. The result is that you can unblock a longstanding
blockage. You will also feel as if you have hit the wall and cant
continue anymore. You can achieve a big breakthrough or find that
you are at the end of the line. Honor your need for stimulation and
excitement.
Monday, August 1 Moon VC Gemini, enters Cancer 8:52 am. Today
is Lammas, the Celtic holiday that celebrates the first harvest of
wheat. Dont be upset by unexpected happenings. Take today to
calm down. You need to feed and soothe yourself and others. Its
a fertile time of month for planting a second garden.
Tuesday, August 2 Moon in Cancer, VC 11:39 am. Do whatever work
you must do in the morning. Use the afternoon for home repair, starting
at the bottom of your things-to-do list. Its a prime gardening
day. Let your imagination fly as you work. Avoid arguments or negotiations,
what you say wont be heard the way you mean it.
Wednesday, August 3 Moon VC Cancer, enters Leo 9:10 pm. Today
is another all-day VC moon day. Take a personal day. Go to the beach;
swim in the pond, paddle your canoe, but dont try to do anything
of importance. Dont even think of starting something new. Tonight
is the dark of the moon.
Thursday, August 4 Moon in Leo. Todays new moon occurs in
opposition to Neptune. You have to watch out for falling under the
sway of your illusions. You will need to stand firm on whom you are
and what you wish to create. The key to handling the energy is to
stay present in the moment and love everyone you see. Have a lot of
summer fun today.
Friday, August 5 Moon in Leo, VC 5:44 pm. Today is an idea
day. It is the middle day of this retrograde period; the sun and Mercury
come together to offer you ideas on how to solve your problems. Write
down your ideas. Give yourself time to listen to your thinking. Its
a great day to express yourself through writing.
Saturday, August 6 Moon VC Leo, enters Virgo 9:54 am. The sun
and Jupiter dance together and provide the background for a lovely
summer day. Be generous and give to those who are in need. Make a
wish come true. Give your help to a friend and enjoy your work together.
Keep writing down your ideas.
Sunday, August 7 Moon in Virgo. Stop and catch up today. Clean
up the July messes. Address little bits of clutter, one drawer at
a time. Weed and cultivate the garden. Fix the screens and other household
chores. Find time to catch your breath and take care of some personal
details. Make a shopping list for next week when Mercury will be direct.
Monday, August 8 Moon VC Virgo, enters Libra 10:08 pm. It would
be best to extend your weekend by a day. Today is good for spacing
out and receiving inspiration. Its not good for any kind of
logical work. Not only is the moon VC all day but the sun stands opposite
Neptune, erasing some of our reality controls. You can see and feel
information that is usually hard to access.
Tuesday, August 9 Moon in Libra. Today is an easy day. You will
want to socialize more than you want to work. You may find that relationships
are on shaky ground these days. Dont take anything for granted.
Work on your artistic projects, show them to someone you respect and
ask for an opinion.
Wednesday, August 10 Moon in Libra, VC 5:10 pm. Venus and Pluto
interact today to remind us of the Persephone myth. You need to examine
all the undercurrents of your relationship. No one wins in a triangle
situation: each one has to compromise. Go out and enjoy the summer
parties and events.
Thursday, August 11 Moon VC Libra, enters Scorpio 8:35 am.
Youll tend to take everything personally today. Try not to judge
anyone, anything, or yourself. Give someone a second chance to reestablish
trust. Work off the emotions in the garden. Remember, its only
four more days until Mercury is direct. |
