ASTROLOGY:
Happy 2005!
December

Happy New Year! It looks like 2005 will be a year when life seems
so fluid and changeable that it may be hard to stay fixed on one project
or idea. Theres a theme to the year of wanting to take responsibility
to fix and heal all the wrongs you see around you. Its a good
year to get involved in social service volunteer work. There are issues
from last year that continue to be at a standoff, especially when
home and family conflicts with career. Honest communication is the
key to settling these problems. You may have to say things youve
never said before.
In 2005, Saturn ends his travels through Cancer and enters Leo in
July. Jupiter remains in Libra until the end of October. Chiron enters
Aquarius in February. Mars will retrograde from Oct. 1 through Dec.
9. Venus turns retrograde on Christmas Eve. It is unusual for both
Mars and Venus to retrograde during the same year.
To help you plan your year, know that Mercury will be retrograde on
March 19 through April 12; July 22 through Aug. 15; and Nov. 14 through
Dec. 3.
Thursday, Dec. 30 Moon in Leo, VC at 9:54 pm. This is a much better
night to party than tomorrow night. Youll find a lot of high
spirits and good feelings. Theres a need for caution as Mars
is challenging Uranus, which raises everyones tension level.
Watch your temper; dont lose it. Stay alert and drive defensively
for the next few days.
Friday, Dec. 31 Moon in Virgo. This is the perfect moon energy
for cleaning up the details of the old year. Sort and discard, recycle
and throw away. Make a big list of things that you want to accomplish
in 2005. Make some reasonable resolutions. Uranus, lord of the unexpected,
instigator of rebellion, sits in a challenge to both Mars and the
moon. Things will not go as planned today, or next year. Drive safely
if you go out tonight.
Saturday, Jan. 1 Moon in Virgo. Happy 2005! Welcome in the
New Year with an open mind and a readiness for surprises. Write down
your resolutions so you can check up on yourself in a few months.
Its a down to earth day, a day to take care of business, clean
and fix things, and tidy up the house. Prepare for the New Year.
Sunday, Jan. 2 Moon VC Virgo, enters Libra 11:19 am. Sleep late
and enjoy your warm bed. Its time to be social again once the
moon changes signs, go out for brunch. Extend the holiday happiness
by gathering with friends to enjoy each others company. Make
peace if theres been any tension over the holidays. Hang up
your new art work.
Monday, Jan. 3 Moon in Libra. Relationships are highlighted today.
There is opportunity to make your relationship more whole and rich.
Look within yourself to find the right things to say and youll
find the words to fit the emotions. Work on your artistic projects
and/or appreciate someone elses work.
Tuesday, Jan. 4 Moon in Libra, VC from 9:20 am until 7 pm when
it enters Scorpio. This is the first long VC period of 2005. Slow
down and focus on the little things that add to your well-being. Move
the furniture around and change the pictures on the wall. Its
a good day to write in your journal to discover what you feel.
Wednesday, Jan. 5 Moon in Scorpio. Its a day to retreat
and focus on yourself. Do research for a writing project. Youll
have the patience to seek out the information you need. Investigate
places to invest your money to see if you can find a safe deal. Be
sure to get extra sleep if you feel down. Let the answers to your
problems come to you in your dreams.
Thursday, Jan. 6 Moon in Scorpio, VC from 1:20 pm to 10:44
pm when it enters Sagittarius. Work twice as hard in the morning so
you can coast in the afternoon. Let your intuition guide you through
the day. Youll be able to read people well and can trust what
you learn. Give yourself some alone time tonight.
Friday, Jan. 7 Moon in Sagittarius. The pace picks up, and its
hard to stay inside, as you want to roam a bit. You need to have some
means of satisfying this craving for action. Dont let it implode
into an angry outburst. Look for a lucky break to help you expand
your life. Its a day to grab the brass ring.
Saturday, Jan. 8 Moon in Sagittarius. This is an outdoors weekend.
Enjoy winter sports at their best. You need to have some friendly
competition. It will be rewarding to learn something new. Go somewhere
youve never been. Eat at an ethnic restaurant thats new
to you. Make plans for an adventurous journey. Have a fun day.
Sunday, Jan. 9 Moon in Capricorn. Life becomes serious again
as Venus and Mercury join the moon in the somber sign of Capricorn.
Your thoughts turn to taking care of business. You want to be efficient,
not sloppy. Concentrate on your career goals. Set your goals for the
coming year during tonights dark of the moon.
Monday, Jan. 10 Moon in Capricorn, VC from 12:58 pm until 10:07
pm, when it enters Aquarius. This new moon offers a prime time to
set your goals, say them aloud, and then vow to reach them. You can
see yourself with a realistic eye and be honest about what needs to
be improved. Todays new moon is close to Chiron, ushering in
a month of healing old wounds.
Tuesday, Jan. 11 Moon in Aquarius. Think about how to heal
your wounds and change your life pattern while you seem to be stuck
in circumstances. Aquarius moon gives the detachment to think outside
the box. Write down the schemes and ideas that come to you. Its
a great day for thinking. Get involved in a community project. Champion
a cause.
Wednesday, Jan. 12 Moon in Aquarius, VC from 10:43 am until
9:50 pm, when it enters Pisces. Do your serious work in the morning
while you have the concentration. Once the moon goes VC, youll
find that daydreams take over your mind. Lend a hand to help someone
who has a problem. Escape into a science fiction movie or book tonight.
Thursday, Jan. 13 Moon in Pisces. Today is the day of the year
when the sun and Saturn stand opposite each other. It may feel like
time is standing still. You may feel stifled by authority figures.
Chiron is hovering nearby to remind you that you have to take responsibility
for your own health and healing. You cant blame anyone else
today.
